Dual expertise at the service of innovation
Coordinated by two scientific experts, one specialized in implantable devices (stimulation and defibrillation) and the other in interventional electrophysiology (ablation), the network is based on close collaboration between top-level centers, combining their skills to support innovation in rhythmology.
Implantable pacing and defibrillation devices
- Pacemakers with and without leads
- Implantable automatic defibrillators (ICDs): single-chamber, VDD, dual-chamber, triple-chamber, endocavitary with subcutaneous lead and endocavitary with substernal lead..
- Pacing leads: permanent endocavitary, left ventricular, permanent epicardial suture, permanent epicardial screw-in and conduction pathway pacing...
- Defibrillation leads
- Pacemaker lead extraction devices
- Implantable holters / implantable cardiac monitors
- Absorbable antibacterial wraps for implantable cardiac electronic devices
- Remote device programming and integrated remote monitoring
Ablation and associated devices
Our members practice all types of cardiac arrhythmia treatment.
Atrial fibrillation (AF), Flutters, Accessory pathways (Kent), Junctional tachycardias (TRIN), Atrial tachycardias (AT), Supraventricular tachycardias (SVT), Ventricular rhythm disorders (VT), Ventricular extrasystoles (VSE), Atrio-ventricular node (AVN) ablation, advanced techniques (electroporation, Marshall vein ablation)
Associated medical devices:
- Electrophysiology catheters for mapping and ablation (radiofrequency, cryotherapy, other technologies)
- Cardiac CT-guided ablation
Complementary technologies and innovations
REFeR-RYTHMO is open to emerging technologies that enrich interventional approaches and patient follow-up. These innovations include:
- Monitoring systems for remote, real-time follow-up of patients with implantable devices (e.g. connected watches and objects, implanted cardiac monitors,...)
- Software and applications for diagnostic assistance, interventional guidance and advanced analysis of electrophysiological signals or complex clinical data (ECG, MRI, signal processing etc..)
- Innovative projects integrating artificial intelligence, decision support algorithms, digital twins, and interventional planning
- Devices associated with specific interventions (e.g. left atrial closure)
- ...
